Surena Chande is a Freelance Copywriter and Journalist with over a decade of experience in both worlds.

It was after a two-week stint on a magazine for work experience, that 14-year-old Surena decided on the career path she’d be pursuing. Wise or not, there were no negotiations. As a Journalist, she has worked on publications including the Mirror, OK!, Evening Standard, BBC Good Food Middle East and

After tiring of relentless shifts and working all hours, Surena found herself transferring her skills to Digital PR where she quickly progressed.

However, the day-to-day involved little writing and there was only so long she could ignore that niggling feeling for. She realised writing was a non-negotiable in any role and focussed solely on Copywriting, working with brands including Dulux, South Western Railway, Clarks, ASOS, FatFace, WorldRemit, BuzzStream, ASICS and, most recently, she was the sole Copywriter for British Airways.

While her career has varied, Surena’s passion for writing has been unwavering and her eyes light up when she explains the methodology behind her lines and Copywriting, as a whole.
