About CopyCon

Who organises CopyCon?

CopyCon is organised by ProCopywriters: The Alliance of Commercial Writers. We’re a UK organisation dedicated to supporting copywriters and promoting our profession.

ProCopywriters was founded in 2012 by 2 copywriters who wanted to bring commercial writers together and provide support and networking opportunities for our profession.

The first CopyCon took place in 2013. Since then we’ve welcomed thousands of copywriters, creatives and marketers to our events. 

The conference programme is assembled by Leif Kendall with input from our community. Our events are delivered by a skilled team of freelance event professionals.

What can I expect from CopyCon?

Our primary goals are to educate, inspire and connect our audience.

Speakers are chosen for their experience and knowledge in relevant fields. We typically try to offer a blend of classic copywriting expertise, as well as some other adjacent fields to lead your mind in new directions and broaden your professional horizons.

All of our speakers are paid for their time. This means our speakers can focus on delivering a meaningful message, rather than needing to deliver a sales pitch.

We encourage mingling and new connections by creating networking zones within the venue, by nominating a handful attendees as CopyCon Connectors (to help introduce people to a new crowd) and by offering meetups and networking around the main conference.

Attendees also receive recordings of keynotes and panel discussions. 

Who is CopyCon for?

Everyone is welcome at CopyCon.

We’re organised by copywriters for copywriters, but we make an effort to broaden our reach into related fields. 

The talks cover a range of expertise levels.

If you work in advertising, marketing, digital or comms, then you’re likely to understand everything you hear at CopyCon. 

 

Will CopyCon return as an in-person event?

Yes, CopyCon will be back in the autumn with an in-person conference, probably somewhere in London. 

Our spring event is a chance to reach more people with a more affordable conference which is still packed with inspiration, education and connection. 

What's the venue for 2026?

CopyCon 2026 (Spring) will take place on Zoom Events – so you can join us from any location without needing to travel or book a hotel. 

Tickets

Is there an OnDemand option in 2026?

Nope.

Our Spring 2026 event is focusing on the interaction and in-person experience, so we’re not offering an on-demand option.

However, attendees will receive recordings of all sessions that are recordable (some breakout sessions my not be suitable for recording).

Do you offer discounts on group bookings?

Yes, we are offering bundle discounts on multiple tickets.

How do I book my Extra Session?

Your order confirmation includes a link to choose your Extra Session. 

You can then choose 1 of the 4 Extra Sessions available.

Can I get a refund?

We are unable to offer refunds on CopyCon tickets. However we do offer substitutions, so you are welcome to transfer your ticket if you are unable to attend.

Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket at any point. Please notify us by email (events@procopywriters.co.uk) so that we can update your order.

Can I pay by invoice?

  • Which elements of CopyCon you are booking (Experience Day / Conference / Training)

How can I pay for CopyCon?

You can book online using a variety of payment methods.

Choose PayPal to spread the cost over 4 instalments.

Or you can email us to request an invoice.

We can also arrange Direct Debits or payment plans if you prefer.
