Brief submissions · open until Fri 18 Sep 2026
Send us a brief you’d actually take.
We pick three. Three writers draft against them, live, on Day 2. The brief stays anonymous on stage; you keep the credit (or don’t — your choice). What we want is real briefs from real organisations, with real constraints. Not the sandbox version.
The route from this form to the stage.
- You submit a brief. Real client, real constraints. We accept until Fri 18 Sep 2026.
- We pick three. Briefs that pose a clear problem and have something interesting to say back. Decisions emailed by 26 Sep.
- Teams are paired. Each pick gets one writing team. Briefs become anonymous on stage unless you opt to be named.
- Live on Day 2. Fri 6 Nov, 16:30 UTC. 70 minutes. Three responses, three Q&As, one trophy.
Submit a brief
The questions we get every year.
Does the brief have to be a paid project? No — real internal projects, not-for-profits, your own brand. The only thing it has to be is real (not invented for the show).
Will the brief stay confidential? Yes, if you tick the anonymous box. If you opt to be named, we credit you and the responses link back to your organisation.
What if my brief is picked but I don’t want it on stage anymore? Tell us — you can withdraw up to 14 Oct. After that, we’ve built run-of-show around it.
