Rishi Dastidar has a dual career as a brand strategist / copywriter, and a poet. In the former, he has written for a wide number of brands including O2. Currently head of brand language at independent consultancy Brandpie, in 2018 he served as a jury member for the D&AD Awards. His poetry has been published by Financial Times, New Scientist and the Southbank Centre amongst many others. A poem from his debut Ticker-tape was included in The Forward Book of Poetry 2018. A pamphlet, the break of a wave, was published by Offord Road Books in 2019. His second collection, Saffron Jack, was published in the UK in 2020 by Nine Arches Press. He is also editor of The Craft: A Guide to Making Poetry Happen in the 21st Century (Nine Arches Press). He is an alumni of The Complete Works, a member of Malika’s Poetry Kitchen, and chairs writer development organization Spread The Word.
